- While the Occupy movement continues to labor in the streets in a manner designed to help Obama and the Democrats, why isn’t the media bothering to report the significant role Big Labor is playing? That’s a rhetorical question, but you can vent in comments of you  like.

The most interesting part of this story, however, is that one of the AFL-CIO affiliates behind the campaign, the Working America group, is headed by a veteran of the Venceremos Brigades to Cuba, a progressive activist by the name of Karen Nussbaum. Equally significant, her husband works for the public relations firm that represented billionaire hedge fund operator George Soros.

- No bias at Time, nope. Plus, were Cain a Democrat and Time not part of the Left, they’d be called racist for making cracks about him.

Time magazine’s website made a cutesy list of the “The 10 Best (Topical) Halloween Costumes of 2011.” Number two on the list was the “GOP presidential candidates.” You could be Michele Bachmann and look “overly wide-eyed, like you just drank a coffeemaker.” Wear a nightcap with your Rick Perry costume for his “sleepiness on the campaign trail.” Herman Cain has a “gimmicky jobs plan” inside a pizza box.

- But the, with the New York Times all but calling Cain and “minstrel,” Bryant Gumbel mumbling on about plantations, and Andrea Mitchell playing the race card so badly, even NBC’s Chuck Todd disapproved, race is the third rail of politics for thee but not for me, as far as the Left in media is concerned. It’s the new tolerance, the media detests lynching, unless the black person is conservative, or has an “R” after their name.

The mainstream media and much of Hollywood have more in common besides fierce loyalty to liberalism. They both rarely deviate from their scripts. The media, like actors and actresses, loyally follow their script to promote a liberal agenda. They filter content based on their political ideology, ignore news that conflicts with their key message and use code language to create heroes, villains and spark action among their loyal fans.

During the Obama campaign, the American media let the world know how they operate. They have not deviated from their script, and now try to marginalize the Tea Party Movement.

The template used by mainstream media describes the Tea Party Movement as a group of racist, intolerant, and violent white people is just more lies and propaganda. The left follows the old totalitarian prescription: “If you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it.” So allow me to tell you a story the liberal media doesn’t want you to hear. I will compare and contrast Tea Party activists versus liberal activists.

I had the honor of speaking at the greater New Orleans Tea Party Tax Day rally last week with well over 1,000 other patriotic Americans. Each speaker spoke about love for country, our Constitution and liberty. There was no violence, rather passionate people who are critical of the decisions being made and want to exercise their constitutionally protected right to peacefully organize and voice their opinions. While walking through the crowd I met flight attendants, accountants, retirees, insurance salespeople and stay-at-home moms. These aren’t violent people seeking confrontation. Until recently, they hadn’t been politically engaged because they were busy going to church, working, paying taxes, obeying the law, raising families, volunteering and living their lives. However, the liberal massive power grab has given them the no choice but to get involved. The Tea Party Movement has provided a vehicle for them to voluntarily take time away from their lives to peacefully and passionately voice their concerns.

They claimed to have “thrown the rightwing bloggosphere [sic] into a tizzy” with their dog-and-pony show announcement of “infiltrating the tea parties” on April 15th. Problem: pretending that you’re Harriet the Spy and infiltrating tea parties only works if you’re covert about it, otherwise, you’re just showing up.

They state:

WHO WE ARE, Crash The Tea Party style, is a lesson in Marxism 101: “A nationwide network of Democrats, Republicans, and Independents who are sick and tired of that loose affiliation of racists, homophobes, and morons; who constitute the fake grass-roots movement which calls itself “The Tea Party.”

Fake grassroots? Racists? A lesson in Marxism 101? It’s elementary enough that I’m further intrigued.

Their Twitter stream is rife with the sharp, lip-smacking sounds of liberal plebeians sucking up to government media elites:

James O’Keefe has to be destroyed in some way.  And the best way you can attack an effective conservative in America today is to call him a racist.  In the past year the tactic has been used against Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Andrew Breitbart, Bill O’Reilly, Scott Brown, the entire Tea Party movement and, all those who oppose President Obama’s health care scheme (the last charge was leveled by none other than a former President).

So, I suppose James O’Keefe should have expected this attack, but it doesn’t make it any easier to take.  Thanks to a deceitful and malicious agenda from the likes of Max Blumenthal, Salon.com and the George Soros funded-John Podesta created-Media Matters for America, the myth of James O’Keefe as a racist has been put forth on the internet and linked to and repeated over and over without any real regard for the truth or normative human decency.  His name and reputation have been raped.   And like all of those men watching Jodie Foster get assaulted in the film The Accused, the establishment media have sat back and watched.  They are as guilty of the rape for not doing anything to stop it.

O’Keefe is the young man who along with Hannah Giles created a sensation last summer with his undercover investigative series exposing a disturbing lack of concern at various ACORN offices over the suggestion of prostitution and sex slavery.  ACORN and their enablers/apologists in the media have made several attempts to rationalize and minimize the images and words we all heard on O’Keefe’s videos.
